Domestic Violence
Domestic violence is violence committed by someone within the victim’s domestic circle. This includes physical and sexual violence, stalking, and threats (with or without damaging property in and around the home). Many criminal offenses fall under the suspicion of domestic violence, and it does not always involve physical violence. An oral threat can also lead to suspicion of domestic violence. Often, when there is suspicion of domestic violence, a behavioral order is imposed, which may determine, for a certain period, that you are not allowed to return home, for example.
